A gallery of some ‘colourised’ Edwardian postcards of Limerick City. The colours were added to the then black & white postcards to give them an artistic lift and make them more vibrant. In some instances, apparently, the colouring artist took some additional licence!
The Edwardian era covers a time period from early 1900 to about 1910, and often is used to refer to times up to the beginning of the first world war in 1914.
